In this event, men of different generations will tell stories of the men they’ve loved in their lives, including fathers, friends, lovers, teachers, mentors, and heroes.

HAVING FUN BUILDING INTER-GENERATIONAL BRIDGES: Ageism is one of the most divisive and isolating human prejudices; it robs all of us of the connections and community we need to reach our potential. It is shocking how infrequently men of different generations interact with each other on substantive levels, associate with one another, or develop friendships. Why not have fun building inter-generational trust & communication?

STORY-TELLING BRINGS US TOGETHER: Manifest, a non-profit men’s wellness community, is bringing men of different generations together in a series of events to tell stories of their lives and get to know one another as human beings -- beyond ageist stereotypes. All our events are open to adult men of all ages, orientations, and backgrounds. No one turned away for lack of funds; work-study available if you call in advance to schedule.

WE HAVE A LOT TO SHARE: Young people need access to wealth, experience, their own history, and the compassion of elders. Older people need playfulness, creativity, comfort with technology, the wellspring of new art & culture, and hope. And as a nation and world, there are tremendous crises of economics, ecology, and cultural and religious conflict that we all need to face and work on together. Through personal story-telling, we can get to know one another nd create an atmosphere of trust.
